Social Class

They are on the street with bins in the background, showing us they are not in a grubby area typical of a working class person. They are dressed in tracksuits and cheap jackets with faux fur which also shows us they are from a working class background. When you look at the children you can tell that they have different fathers. She is standing by herself beside all of the children showing us that she is a single mother and when you look at the children we can see that they have different fathers this is stereotypical of someone from a working class background. They have sad and hard expressions showing that they are not happy in their situation, they may not be happy being from a working class background.

Disability

We can see the woman on the left has a wide eyed look and is not looking at anything in particular but looking in the distance like she is far away this is stereotypical of someone who is mentally unstable. The woman on the right has a very serious and concerned expression. Also the woman on the left is sitting in a very child like position making her look very vulnerable and also she looks like someone who needs the aid of another. We see that the girl on the left is slightly higher up insinuating that even though she is the youngest of the two it is her responsibility to look after her.

Gender

She’s looking up to the man, showing that he has a higher status. He is wearing a suit showing that he of high status and has power. He is taking up most of the shot showing that he is more important than the woman. The woman is looking slightly needy and she is looking to the man who is higher up than her to help her and answer her questions, she is relying on a man to make things better.

Social Class

Look like a typical nuclear family, both Mum and Dad are there and everyone looks happy and smiley. The dad has his arms wrapped around the mum showing that they are very much in love. The dad is on a higher step than the mum and she is leaning on him which can show that he is the breadwinner and she relies on him financially aswell.  The eldest son is higher up than the dad maybe showing that he is soon to ne like his dad and become the head of a family. They are all sitting quite close together showing that they are a tight knit family. The family are all well dressed/presented and just look generally happy. The area that they are sitting in looks nice and well looked after also showing that they are from a middle class background living in a nice area.
